Terms & Conditions Competition-E

The purpose of Competition-E is to win the money.

Legal action notice. Our copyright and intellectual property. We may take legal action against any person or party that fails to observe and respect our legal rights. So don’t do it.

All the contents and/or concepts of this website and/or offerings are protected by law.

By visiting or using Website-E in any way or by entering Competition-E, you are deemed to have read and accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and the Cookie and Privacy Policy. This competition requires skill, and/or knowledge, and/or judgement and complies with all the criteria issued by the UK Gambling Commission.

Definitions:

Competition-E: The title of Competition-E is “E-Win the money”. Competition-E is operated by Promoters-E to which these Terms and Conditions apply, wherein the Entrants-E submit free or paid Entry-E or Entries-E via the Website-E to win Prize-E.

Prize-E: The prize for Competition-E is £250 if over 1000 unique and genuine Entrants-E enter Competition-E. If we only reach 0 to 10 entries then the prize will be £10. If we only reach 11 to 20 entries then the prize will be £20.  If we only reach 21 to 30 entries then the prize will be £30.  If we only reach 31 to 999 entries then the prize will be £40. To be clear, an Entrant-E who has multiple Entries-E will only count as one Entrant-E towards the 1000 target.

PROMOTER-E or Promoters-E: A Young, and/or Janet Hunter, and/or the legal owner of Prize-E, and/or any third parties, agents, aliases or partners that are appointed by the legal owner of Prize-E. Mannson-Tyn, Howard Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 2BW

QUESTION-E or QUESTIONS-E: The question or questions which Entrant-E must answer correctly (in substantial accordance with the answer held by the Promoters-E) to obtain an opportunity to win Prize-E. The question or questions may be changed by the PROMOTER-E (at its sole discretion) at any time, for any reason, and without giving prior notice; this will not in anyway affect the eligibility for Prize-E of Entrants-E who have already correctly answered the old/previous question or questions.

ENTRANT-E or Entrants-E: Any person (not including a limited company, partnership or limited liability partnership) who enters Competition-E through Website-E to win Prize-E.

ENTRY FEE-E: The fee of £10 (UK Pounds Sterling GBP) that Entrant-E must pay for one Entry-E to enter Competition-E. The Promoters-E may from time to time give variable discount(s) on Entry Fee-E which may or may not have conditions attached. Each Entrant-E can have one free entry to Competition-E, and this offer can be withdrawn at anytime and for any reason.

Entry-E: One entry is a payment in full of the Entry Fee-E and an answer submitted to QUESTION-E by Entrant-E to obtain one opportunity to win Prize-E.

Entries-E: More than one Entry-E.

DRAW-E: The draw will be streamed live on the internet; so it’s like you are present at the draw. If more than one Entrant-E has correctly answered QUESTION-E, then a random draw to determine Winner-E will take place. For transparency , one vicar can attend the draw to ensure that everything is ok – we have nothing to hide. Each entrant can nominate one vicar of their choice. If more than one vicar is nominated then entrants can vote for the vicar they want to attend the draw; no more than five vicars can be nominated on a first-come first-serve basis. The vicar with the highest votes will attend the draw. The vicar who attends the draw will have full access to any part of the process to select the winner. We will use the Google or www.random.org random number generator for this purpose.  Please note that the live stream must be clear so that all viewers can clearly see what is happening. Live streaming can be affected by poor signals, internet traffic, computing power, etc. If the live stream is not clear then the draw will be postponed to a later time. The live stream must be clear. If the live stream or draw process is not clear, then at Promoter-E’s sole discretion, the draw will be declared void, and the draw will be postponed to a later time and/or date until the issues have been resolved.

WINNER-E: Entrant-E chosen in random Draw-E on or after the Competition-E has closed, who will receive Prize-E in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

CLOSING DATE-E: see the date on the competition-E entry website page.

ANOUNCEMENT DATE-E: The date when Winner-E of Competition-E is announced on Website-E.

ALTERNATE WINNER-E: If for any reason whatsoever Prize-E cannot be awarded to Winner-E then the Promoters-E reserve the right to award/offer Prize-E to the Alternate Winner-E.


General:

  1. By visiting Website-E or by entering Competition-E, all Entrants-E and any other party are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, and the Cookie and Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by them.

  2. The purpose of Competition-E is to win Prize-E.

  3. Competition-E can only be entered via Website-E.

  4. Only Entrants-E who have paid the correct and appropriate Entry Fee-E, and correctly answered QUESTION-E (in substantial accordance with the answer held by Promoters-E) will be entered into Competition-E and random Draw-E.

  5. Only Entrants-E who have correctly answered QUESTION-E will be entered into random Draw-E. The Winner-E of Competition-E and Prize-E will be Entrant-E whose details are randomly drawn in Draw-E.

  6. Winner-E agrees to waive all rights to remain anonymous, and their recent (no more than 3 years old) photograph will be displayed on Website-E. One of the reasons for this is that the competition must be transparent and fair. Prize-E will not be transferred to Winner-E until a suitable photograph has been provided by Winner-E. Winner-E may also be required to email a short video of themselves receiving the prize, and it may be posted on Website-E or our social media accounts.

  7. The Promoters-E would like to hold other competitions in the future so it is very important to the Promoters-E that the competition and Draw-E is conducted randomly and fairly.

  8. UK English is the only language in which an entrant/Entrant-E may submit their entry, or any other form of communication.

  9. All payments will only be accepted in United Kingdom pounds sterling.

  10. By entering Competition-E, Entrant-E is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. Upon entering Competition-E, Entrant-E must submit all contact details requested by the Promoters (which may include first name, last name, date of birth, post code, the town & country where they live, a valid e-mail address and a mobile telephone contact number. If an Entrant-E does not have a mobile telephone number, then a land-line number can be used instead. We would also like Entrant-E to provide their full postal address, but this isn’t always necessary) which will be used for the following purposes:
    a) to post Winner-E’s name, town and country of residence on Website-E; and

    b) to comply with the Privacy Policy.

    c) in the operation or administration or improvement of Competition-E.

d) to notify Entrant-E of this, other and future competitions, promotions, offers, etc. that are operated by the Promoters-E. Entrants-E can unsubscribe from this at anytime.

e) to verify the Winner-E, so please ensure you provide correct and accurate details.

f) for any other purposes that the Promoters-E feel are necessary.

11. Entrants-E are solely and completely responsible for providing the Promoters-E with accurate and current contact details. Entrants-E may request that the Promoters-E modifies or updates contact information supplied during the course of Competition-E by contacting the Promoters-E via Website-E and quoting their details and any other information requested by the Promoters-E. There is an administration charge (to cover costs) of £99 for each modification request. The email address originally given cannot be modified once it has been given.

 12. All Entrants-E agree and understand that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations or any other laws or regulations for any goods or services to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to Competition-E.

  1. All Competition-E entries must be received no later than the Closing Date-E. Entries after Closing Date-E or once Competition-E is closed will be invalid and are automatically disqualified. No refunds will be given for late entries. If the 1000 Entries-E target is reached before Closing Date-E, then the Promoters-E (at their sole discretion) may close Competition-E early and no further entries will be accepted, and a notice to indicate this may be displayed on Website-E.

  2. The Promoters-E will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to make contact with any Entrant-E due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by Entrant-E or otherwise.

  3. Entrant-E and the Promoters-E recognise that the Promoters-E may use contact details and other data including personal data supplied by Entrant-E to the Promoters-E to administer Website-E and conduct Competition-E according to these Terms and Conditions. Entrant-E and the Promoters-E also recognise that the Promoters-E may (either by choice or at the request of a third party) also disclose this information to relevant third parties for the purposes of the prevention of fraud, money laundering, legal or other financial or regulatory reasons.

  4. Competition-E is open to Entrants-E aged 18 or over excluding the Promoters-E, their immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners), agents, employees, professional advisers or anyone else connected with the development or operation of Website-E or conductor administration of Competition-E. Entry-E made by the Entrant-E to Competition-E will only be valid if made via Website-E as instructed.

  5. Entrants-E must ensure that their participation (including the acceptance of any prize awarded) is lawful in accordance with the laws of the country of which they are a citizen and/or resides. This competition/promotion/Competition-E is void where void under local or national laws. Promoters-E shall not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawfulness of any individual’s participation, or as to any other aspect of any competition/promotion/Competition-E. The Promoters-E will not be liable in any way if an entrant/Entrant-E enters the competition/Competition-E unlawfully.

  6. By entering into Competition-E, all Entrants-E acknowledge that their payment(s) (plus any booking fee per transaction) per entry/Entry-E to answer the QUESTION-E and thereby enter Competition-E does not guarantee in any way that they will win Prize-E or any other prize.

  7. Promoters-E do not in any way guarantee the value of Prize-E. Promoters-E are not responsible or liable in any way for the valuation of Prize-E and makes no representation or warranty in respect of its accuracy, or its ability to be sold.

  8. Only completed and fully paid Entry-E/Entries-E (plus any promotional offers) will be entered into Competition-E.

  9. By entering Competition-E, all entrants confirm that they are eligible to enter the Competition-E and to claim Prize-E. Entrants-E and Promoter-E recognise that the Promoters-E may require proof of Winner-E’s or Entrant-E’s eligibility. Furthermore, if at anytime (even after the prize has been awarded) it is discovered that the Winner-E has acted fraudulently or unlawfully, then the Winner-E will have to hand back the prize to Promoters-E, and pay for all the costs (direct or indirect) incurred by the Promoters-E. For the avoidance of doubt, these costs will not be less than the value of Prize-E plus £50,000 UK pounds sterling.

  10. There is a limit of fifty entries that any one person can make via Website-E. Entrants cannot buy more than 4 tickets priced at £0.01 (1 pence) for this competition.

  11. The Promoters-E believe in and operate a continuous improvement policy.

  12. In answering the QUESTION-E, Entrants-E recognise that they must exercise skill, and/or knowledge, and/or judgement to give the correct answer.

  13. Under normal circumstances, Competition-E shall close on or before Closing Date-E.

  14. Prize-E will be fully paid for and be free of any outstanding finance.

  15. All future bills, charges or any other costs associated with Prize-E become the sole responsibility of Winner-E.

  16. For the avoidance of doubt, Prize-E is non-negotiable and non-transferable.

29. The details of Winner-E may also be (subject to Winner-E’s consent) used for other additional publicity.

30. Winner-E is responsible for all expenses and arrangements not specifically and expressly included in Prize-E and these Terms and Conditions.

31. The nominated vicar will need to contact the Promoters-E via Website-E to advise of their intention to attend random Draw-E.

The vicar who attends random Draw-E will need to provide proof of identity and agree to have their full name and photo displayed on Website-E. No new vicar nominees will be accepted 2 (two) weeks before Draw-E is due to take place. Retired vicars can be nominated provided that they have not been retired for more than 4 years. A non-refundable administration fee (to cover our costs) of £30 (normally this fee is £900) is payable in advance if any Entrant-E wishes to nominate a vicar.

32. There is no need to attend the random Draw-E.

33. Draw-E to determine Winner-E of Competition-E will take take place as quickly as possible after Closing Date-E or after Competition-E has closed.

  1. It is the responsibility of all Entrants-E, and all other parties to check Website-E regularly for any updates/news and to see/check if they have won Prize-E/Competition-E. Winner-E will be deemed to have been notified once Winner-E has been announced on Website-E. The Website-E notification will state Winner-E’s name, town, country and any other information that the PROMOTER-E thinks are necessary. Winner-E will be required to contact PROMOTER-E to claim Prize-E.

  2. It is not the responsibility of PROMOTER-E to contact Winner-E personally to notify them that they have won Prize-E. However, the purpose of Competition-E is for Entrants-E to win Prize-E, and in order to speed up matters PROMOTER-E may (even thou PROMOTER-E is under no obligation to do so), at it’s sole discretion, try to contact the Winner-E via the email and/or telephone that Winner-E has already provided.

  3. Winner-E will be required to provide proof of identity when claiming Prize-E. For the avoidance of doubt, this may include (but not limited to) their valid passport, valid photographic drivers licence, that the funds used for payment belonged to Entrant-E or were used with the proper consent/consents from the owner of the funds, etc, etc, and any other documents or information the Promoters-E request or think are necessary.

  4. If deemed necessary by Promoters-E, or if Promoters-E suspect a fraudulent claim by Winner-E, then additional security checks may be required, including (but not limited to) verification by a notary public, etc, etc, the costs & expenses of which will be paid for by Winner-E.

  5. Winner-E of Prize-E shall have 20 days from the Announcement Date-E to collect Prize-E, and if Winner-E does not claim and collect Prize-E by this date, the claim shall become invalid.

  6. After the draw, the Promoters-E will decide how the prize money will be paid. All Entrants-E must ensure that they can accept money via Paypal, and/or direct bank transfer. Most probably, the prize will be paid via Paypal. If deemed necessary, then Promoters-E may pay Prize-E in cash.

  7. If deemed necessary by Promoters-E, or if Promoters-E suspect a fraudulent claim by Winner-E, then additional security checks may be required if Winner-E chooses not to collect Prize-E in person, including (but not limited to) verification by a notary public, etc, etc, the costs & expenses of which will be paid for by Winner-E.

  8. PROMTER-E is under no obligation to provide Winner-E with any receipts.

  9. In order for Winner-E to avoid problems with having to prove their identity later on, it is advisable for all Entrants-E to ensure that they provide correct and accurate details when entering Competition-E.

  10. Prize-E may not be claimed by a third party on Winner-E’s behalf.

  11. If for any reason whatsoever Prize-E cannot be awarded to Winner-E, or Winner-E has not claimed their Prize-E within 20 days of the Announcement Date-E, or Winner-E’s claim to Prize-E becomes invalid (for whatever reason), or there is some other problem or delay, then Promoters-E reserve the right to award/offer Prize-E to Alternate Winner-E. The Alternate Winner-E will be drawn randomly from the remaining Entrants-E. The Alternate Winner-E will be subject to the same rules as Winner-E.

  12. The Alternate Winner-E will be announced on Website-E in a similar fashion to Winner-E, and the Alternate Winner-E shall have 20 of days from the announcement to claim their Prize-E, and the rules affecting Winner-E will also apply to the Alternative Winner-E.

  13. The Promoters-E do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever if Winner-E is not able to take up Prize-E.

  14. Prize-E is not negotiable or transferable.

  15. If there is any disagreement about the identity of Winner-E then the owner of the email account given when entering Competition-E, in conjunction with other supporting information, will be deemed as the winner of Competition-E.

  16. Nothing else is included in Prize-E. All other costs and expenses (whatever they are and however they arise) will be the responsibility of Winner-E.

  17. All entries to Competition-E are final and no refunds shall be made at any time or for any reason, except as detailed in clause 51.

  18. The Promoters-E reserve the right to cancel Competition-E at any time or in the event of circumstances outside its control which affect its ability to operate Competition-E. If Competition-E is cancelled and Prize-E is not awarded to Winner-E, then the Promoters-E will return the Entry Fee-E paid by Entrants-E to Entrants-E. If Entry Fee-E is returned then the Promoters-E will have no further liability to Entrants-E or any other person or party. For the avoidance of doubt, any transaction fees or charges incurred for whatever reason will not be returned.

  19. Promoters-E reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, for any reason and without giving prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, PROMOTER-E may (but not limited to) modify, delete, amend or add new words, sections or clauses to these Terms and Conditions.

  20. Any decision(s) of Promoters-E and the determination of Winner-E is final and no correspondence, details or discussions will be entered into.

  21. Competition-E is operated by the Promoters-E.

  22. All Entrants-E agree and understand that the Promoters-E can use any of their information in any manner in the operation, running, administration and improvement of Competition-E.

  23. Promoters-E reserve the right to close Competition-E at anytime, for any reason, and without giving prior notice.

  24. By entering Competition-E, Entrants-E warrant that all information which they submit is accurate, true, current and complete. PROMOTER-E reserves the right to disqualify any Entrants-E at any time and for any reason whatsoever, and without giving prior notice. In such a case, the Promoters-E will return the Entry Fee-E to Entrant-E as per clause 51, and the Promoters-E will have no further liability to Entrants-E or any other person or party. For the avoidance of doubt, any transaction fees or charges incurred for whatever reason will not be returned.

  25. Promoters-E may ban or exclude any party from attending Draw-E, at any time, and for any reason, and without any explanation.

  26. All Entrants-E and all other parties agree that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations or any other laws or regulations for any goods or services to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to Competition-E.

  27. All Entrants-E, third parties, Website-E visitors, and anyone else, all agree and understand that all laws and regulations (whatever they may be) will not apply to Competition-E.

  28. The purpose of Competition-E is that Winner-E wins the Prize-E subject to these Terms and Conditions, and this has to be done in a cost efficient, transparent and fair manner. However, (and as others have found) there maybe a very, very, very small number of parties (with vested interests) who may want to cause disruption for their own benefit. Unfortunately, trying to deal with this very, very small minority of disruptive parties means that these Terms and Conditions have to be as they are.

  29. Please see clause 61 first. All Entrants-E, all website or Website-E visitors, and all other parties recognise, understand and agree to waive and forfeit all their rights whatever those rights may be, including (but not limited to) all legal rights, statutory rights and all other rights. If you do not agree to this then please do not use this website and do not enter Competition-E.

  30. The Promoters-E , its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate Winner-E or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up Prize-E. Winner-E’ s statutory rights are affected.

  31. After paying for everything, if there any surplus funds remaining, the Promoters-E will be entitled to retain those funds.

  32. Promoters-E reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend Competition-E at any time, for any reason and without giving prior notice, where it becomes necessary to do so. Also, see clause 61.

  33. The Promoters-E cannot and do not guarantee that Website-E or this whole website, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.

  34. Any Entrant-E who does not answer QUESTION-E correctly (in substantial accordance with the answer held by the Promoters-E) will not be entered into Competition-E.

  35. If paying by debit/credit card (if this method is an option) then Entrant-E must provide their full address, post code, and any other information requested by Promoters-E.

  36. These Terms and Conditions, and the Cookie and Privacy Policy shall be governed by English law only, and all the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Promoters-E. In the event of any disagreement, dispute or any other matters arising all parties will accept that the Promoters-E decision is final and binding on all parties, and understand and agree not to take or commence any other actions or proceedings whatsoever.

  37. If any Entrants-E or any other party or parties breaches clause 69 in any any way whatsoever, then they understand and agree that they must pay all the costs of the Promoters-E irrespective of whether they win or lose; including (but not limited to) legal costs and all other costs (whether direct or indirect costs) that the Promoters-E incur.

  38. The Promoters-E will not be liable for any kind of loss whatsoever suffered or sustained by any person, party or property as a result of any act or omission of the Promoters-E, their servants or agents in developing, planning and administrating the competition/Competition-E, distributing the Prize-E to the Winner-E or after distribution of Prize-E. The Promoters-E accept no liability whatsoever for errors or omissions contained within the Prize-E details, description or specification or any other part of the website/Website-E. It is the responsibility of all Entrants-E and all Website-E visitors to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any such details and /or any content of Website-E/website.

  39. The Promoters-E will not be liable for anything, or any loss suffered by any Entrants-E as a result of incomplete Entries-E or failed computer communications or for any loss suffered as a result of use of this website/Website-E.

  40. The Promoters-E will not be responsible or liable for any transaction fees or charges however or whenever they arise. All Entrants-E are responsible for all transaction fees or charges however or whenever they arise. Entrants-E must ensure that their Paypal account or any other accounts are denominated in UK pounds sterling.

  41. The Promoters-E do not accept liability or responsibility for entries/Entries-E which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, or other malfunctions, high internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure or faults, server faults, or any other reason.

  42. If any of these words, sentences or clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it or they shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining words, sentences or clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

  43. Please see clause 61. All Entrants-E, all other parties, and all visitors to this website or Website-E recognise, understand and agree that the Promoters-E operate and run the competition or Competition-E, and this website or Website-E without any liability or responsibility whatsoever to anyone for anything.

  44. All visitors to Website-E and all Entrants-E understand and agree that the Promoters-E may use any contact details that they provide to inform them of this, future and other competitions, promotions and/or offers that the Promoters-E operate now or in the future. Any party can unsubscribe at anytime from these notifications by contacting the Promoters-E. Promoters-E will not pass on any such details to any third parties, except as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

  45. These Terms and Conditions or Competition-E rules or any part of this website shall not be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between any party, parties or Entrants-E and the promoters or Promoters-E.

  46. Refer a Friend Promotion:-

    a) Only competition-E is eligible for this promotion.

    b) Entrants-E can only take part in the promotion if they have specially been invited by the Promoters-E. The Promoters-E will provide details of how to refer your friend, and how to claim your free referral ticket.

    c) Entrants-E cannot refer more than 20 friends per invitation. If the Promoters-E invite an entrant for a second time, then the entrant can invite another 20 friends.

    d) This promotion is open to new, potential customers only. If your friend has already contacted Promoters-E for any reason whatsoever then they are not eligible to take part in this promotion.

    e) Only one free ticket per new customer. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

    f) The referrer must already be an existing customer who has a ticket for the random draw. To claim the offer simply send an email to your friend inviting them to enter Competition-E, and then forward that sent email to the promoters using the email address provided in your invitation. Your friend must enter “Referred” followed by your-email-address in the field “How did you find us (required)” on the competition entry web page. For example, in the field “How did you find us. (required)” on the competition entry web page, your friend would enter “Referred by your-email-address”.

    g) Any Friends and/or Referrers suspected of fraud will be disqualified. The promoters reserve the right to withdraw, cancel or amend the offer at any time and without notice. There is no cash or other alternatives.
